COEM is the first and only college in India to offer exciting COEMBA courses in the fields of events, media and public relations. We also offer MBA, BBA courses and diploma courses that are UGC recognized.

Full Time Courses:

COEM was India's first event institute to introduce full time courses in event management, and are now launching the ninth batch of full time students. Feedback shows that full time students get far higher salaries and better placement than part time students.

Part Time Courses:

At the same time, COEM offers the most powerful part time courses in events as well as media: another first! The courses are modeled on international lines; and offer approx. 60% more value than other similar event/ media institutes.

Jobs:

COEM is the first event institute in India to offer a job placement assurance to all full time students. In addition, the institute has achieved a 100% placement record for part time students, as well.

COEM has tied up with the leading national and international associations to ensure recognition across the world. These associations include but are not limited to World Event Council, USA; MAA, Hong Kong; E-Thames, UK etc.

Practical Education:

The fields of events, media and PR are such that they can't be totally learned from books. COEM offers an equal emphasis on classroom and practical education. Students train on the biggest and most exciting events properties like Filmfare Awards, Femina Miss India, Indian Idol, IPL, I League, Celebrate Pune Festival, IIFA Awards etc.; as well as media like Who's Who in Pune, Pune Live, Film Shoots etc: both from the operations as well as the management angle.

THOW:

COEM is the only college to offer THOW – (The Hands On Way) - the international standard for Practical Training. THOW has been introduced to India by COEM. It is a unique learning platform where through a game show format, students learn the intricacies of the subject using:

• Live simulation
• Live management

Levels of Training:

COEM prepares its students through thorough practical experience at various levels of management of events and media. This includes hands on levels as well as management levels.

Industry Internship:

COEM arranges industry internship with the leading companies in the relevant fields for all full time students. From Wizcraft to Percept D’Mark, Times Group and NDTV, you can expect exciting internships.

Exhaustive study material:

COEM is the only event institute in India to provide exhaustive and accurate study material, prepared by event managers and media managers themselves, amounting to more than 1,500 pages of top quality learning.

Full Time faculty:

COEM's faculty is the highest level in any event institute in the country. Full Time Faculty ensures continuity in the education process; along with Visiting Faculty from top International companies and practicing managers.

Computer labs & Library:

No good institute can run without a well stocked library, and laboratory facilities. COEM is the first event and media institute with a library with over 5000 + books & CDs, computer lab and internet research facilities, for event, media and management courses. We also have a fully equipped studio with camera, TV, DTH, CD and DVD facilities.

Scholarships:

COEM encourages higher quality levels of students at every stage. This is why there exists a scholarship program (based on merit only.) The scholarship program is very easy to access and involves a simple aptitude test.

Dual Majors:

In order to create even more exciting career avenues for the students, COEM offers dual majors on all its courses (except certified courses.) These increase the brand equity of the student and improve the resume. Please refer to individual courses for dual major details.

Class size:

As per UNDP research, an ideal learning environment should not exceed 30 students. All courses at COEM are limited to 30 students.
