COEM practical studies are based on the following components:

Students are encouraged to research the workings of the business world through usage of the computer laboratory, library and studio. This research builds into the student much needed awareness of business culture across the globe, entertainment trends, films and event reviews, news monitoring etc.

COEM is the first management college in India to introduce the concept of THOW in the classroom. This unique teaching tool is designed to give students the touch & feel of real life management. It uses the following three steps

* Case Studies
* Simulation
* Live Management Scenarios

To Train the Managers of Tomorrow

Every year the students embark on at least one study tour. This is an all expenses paid tour. Students have been to study tours to more than 40 different locations over the past three years. Some of them were Milan, Florence, Alibaug, Goa, Udaipur, Delhi, Kochi, Chennai, Calcutta, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kathmandu and more.

To factories, advertising agencies, restaurants, building sites, event sites, newspaper printing presses, television studios etc.

Are a part of in-classroom activity as well as activity done at home/ in the field. Primarily research based, these take place on a continuous basis.

All full time students undergo a 10 – 12 week internship every year with leading corporate houses as part of the course curriculum. Part time students are offered internships as an optional.

Corporate Finishing School runs throughout the year in rotation, where each full time student gets an average of two weeks practise. Activities include, among others, managing your own campus.

* In House Practicum :

Are those practicum that are created by the students of COEM, in an property format, and conducted on a recurring basis. In-house events give the student a chance to view and manage the practicum at every level of the operation.

For example, in in-house events, students are part of the creation and planning of the event, the pre-production and production activities as well as event closure.
