MEDIA CAREERSThe media is indeed a very vast field. Opportunities exist in various aspects and departments of the media such as journalism, news anchoring, RJ, VJ, programming, marketing, distribution, production, producing, filming, graphic design and layout, circulation, animation, photography, direction… the list goes on. What we can see from this is that there is no shortage of jobs or functions in the media. Rather, there is an acute shortage of professionals; and this shortage is so high that one area alone - television, is producing only about 20% of the required amount of serials and other programs required for the industry in the year. And now, we have about 200 plus television channels that are being beamed into India.
