COEMBA – Events (COEMBA – E)

The COEMBA is a two-year masters level program with specialization in Event or Advertising & Media or Public Relations or Sports Management or Hospitality. Along with the additional facility of UGC Approved MBA and Masters Degrees, the COEMBA is the ultimate industry-ready programmed in the field.

So, why an COEMBA in events?

When the MBA boom began around 1994-95; it was in response to the demand for formally trained managers. This demand was because the economy began to boom, in response to economic liberalization. Fifteen years ago the demand began for an MBA, but what companies now realize is that most MBA courses train you in general management skills – they do not teach you the key industry specific skills.

Course Eligibility

Graduate degree in any discipline. OR proof of completion of 16 years’ schooling. Students who have appeared for their final degree examinations are eligible to apply.

Exceptions: Students who have passed Class XII level and whose age exceeds 25 years on 01 June, 2010; with a minimum of five year’s full time work experience.

Course Description

The COEMBA – Events is a two – year; full time; career oriented; post graduate course; with a specialization in events. A student pursuing this course will not be able to pursue any other part time or full time study.
