     CERTIFIED EVENT COURSES1. Certified Wedding Planner Benefits of Certified Courses: COEM offers Three-Month Part-Time Certificate Courses in specialized subjects. These certificate courses are designed to benefit the following students: • Those who wish to gain a basic awareness of the events business • Those who wish to improve their resume with an additional area of study • Those who are not yet certain that they want a career in event management • Those who have time constraints • Practicing event managers • Hotel & Hospitality industry executives • Advertising/ PR agency executives • Those who wish to set up their own wedding planning business COEM announces its Fourteenth batch of Certified courses commencing June, 2010. Eligibility: For all Certified Courses, any student above 16 years of age or who has passed a Class X level examination; is eligible for admission to the course. Class Timings: Classes are conducted on a part time basis, four days/ week; 2 hours/ day. Batches are available in the morning, afternoon and evening slots, on a first come first served basis. Practicum: In order to obtain the certificate, the student has to undergo a minimum of 5 practical assignments, which are arranged for by the college. The Course content also includes assignments & case studies, projects.
